STEP 1: Apply
Shake and then pour it on or rub it in slowly. Get to know the product. A little can go a long way.
STEP 2: Wait 
While the oils set in, we generally see a some tackiness that goes away after around 7-10 days. It will collect some dust during this time. It's fine to wash this off, but we suggest that people who use SUM-1 do not dry-rub the dust. These effects soon go away and then the plastic feels fine.
STEP 3: Enjoy
Enjoy! Surfaces can be washed. We haven't ever seen paint damage, but we still like to wash it off for looks. There may be some dirt accumulation onto paint from run-off while the oils are setting in. Wipe off excess when applying. Most surfaces we've tested have lasted nicely for at least a month and quite decent for 2-3 months. We still see a notable difference even after a year.

Accidentally discovered by a school-teacher on a hunting trip, that annoying little mark left by his hand on his Chevy Avalanche turned into the solution to his problem. The mark lasted for months. He studied the oils that are on skin, found alternative commercial sources for each component and experimented with different mixes to eventually creat SUM-1. His test plots lasted for months!
